3/30/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved Behavior: JaCaeri was reported to have displayed hyperactive behaviors as he targeted siblings to draw attention as parent shared that she directed to stop the behaviors. JaCaeri shared difficulty with compliance as he reportedly continued to show hyperactive behaviors. Intervention: QMHP-C advised JaCaeri to apologize to his family for displaying agitating behaviors towards siblings. QMHP-C instructed JaCaeri to participate with role play exercise. QMHP-C explained that the role play exercise will assist him to identify his behaviors and moods. QMHP-C played the role of the JaCaeri as JaCaeri to observe in review the behavior of hyperactivity and provoking behavior. QMHP-C continued the session by asking JaCaeri about the use of problem solving exercises. QMHP-C reviewed problem solving scenario for the JaCaeri can think and utilize the important decisions that are relevant to reducing conflicts within the home. Parent was encouraged to place reminders for the JaCaeri to make positive decisions. QMHP-C assisted JaCaeri with identifying self control methods such as performing favorite hobby and play exercise. QMHP-C recommended the positive play exercise of the board game chess. QMHP-C educated JaCaeri on how to address communication and interacting as positive. QMHP-C assisted JaCaeri with practicing role play exercises to review the events that occurred within the home. QMHP-C identified parent feedback in order for JaCaeri to address listening and following directives without displaying anger or negative responses. Response: JaCaeri was able to show participation with the exercises as he was able to address his understanding of how he can utilize the role play exercise. JaCaeri was able to apologize to his siblings as he shared that he was only having fun. JaCaeri's participation with the problem solving exercise showed that he was able to identify social skills needed to avoid conflicts. Parent agreed to utilize verbal reminders to have JaCaeri follow directives and positive decisions. JaCaeri showed cooperation as he participated with today's session. JaCaeri's participation with the play exercise enlightened the JaCaeri to seek a more settle approach towards interacting with family members. JaCaeri was able to provide his thoughts of the exercise by stating "I can try and do better". JaCaeri parent was in agreement with the exercise.
